Our power came back about 3:50 am, but some people are still waiting. Just talked to a friend who has had it for two hours (since about 8:15).

They've been talking about revolving outages, but so far ours hasn't shut off again.

Not too many hardships, except that most people got a holiday and we had to work. And the subways are down, the buses crowded, so I walked more than usual in very hot weather.

We didn't open the fridge or freezer, so the food was okay.
