I'm sorry that you're so disenchanted with it all. It happened to me in another fandom, one in which, like you with AAS, I'd invested considerable amounts of time and energy over about five years, only to cut free in something under 24 hours in a move I still feel numb and shocked about.
I hope you stick with AAS but I've seen how much stress it's produced and if it's got to the point where that outweighs the fun and the pride (and it is something you should be proud of) then fair enough.
I don't think 'useful resource' comes close. Whatever you decide, thanks for all your work and support of Spike fanfic ::hugs::
I miss BtVS too. Watched 'Angel' from the start, always loved it and I'm enjoying it still, but it's not quite the same. Might be better in some ways - but it's not the same.
