It's not really AAS that's bothering me; it's just the politics of fandom plus the fact that I just don't feel that kind of passionate interest in the character or the story that I once did. I mean, really, if I'm going to put up with being called a rabid insane squealy serial killer lover and rape apologist whose favorite character ruins every show he touches, then at least it ought to be over a character I feel passionate about and not one who I just defend out of habit and sort of pity.
