Now, this isn't what ME wanted... when I stopped caring, I stopped buying, stopped watching from week to week, started spending my money to go to Idol concerts instead of earmarking it for DVD purchases. But I had more fun on LJ, with writing, and everything else that dealt more with fandom than the show. It might not work that way for you, but I hope it does. I hope you're able to recapture the fun, like I was.
