Everyone's doing this meme. I don't usually post these, because I think "everyone's going to think I'm selfish and hate me for posting this," even though I never think that about anyone else who posts these.
But anyway, I really enjoyed reading the responses in other people's journals. It's neat and interesting how people in fandom are so interconnected. So, I'll post this anyway:
1. How did you first hear of/meet me?
2. Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me?
3. With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and/or my writing?
NOTE: This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.
(Just ignore the whole "writing" part, since I don't write.)
Also, I just looked at my entry from last night, and man, I really shouldn't be allowed to post after 3am.

I first heard of you on BAPS, I think. Definitely one of those lists, anyway. I think - think - I actually contacted you about travelling from NYC to Cleveland, but that didn't work out. I then heard of you for sure through allaboutspike. I really can't remember when that was, but I surfed onto the site by following a succession of bookmarks from other fic sites and started reading. I first met you at Cleveland, where you stood out cause you're so damn pretty. I associate you with allaboutspike, fandom commentary, life in NYC, big black boots, veganism and bands I've never heard of. :)

Really? I don't remember that, but it could've just been that I didn't know who you were.
I wish we'd had more time to talk in Cleveland. I'm so looking forward to WriterCon, where it's not all rushed and you don't have to deal with all the silly celebrity stuff. I'm much more interested in the hanging out and chatting anyway.
