Alas, I never really liked Green Day. They were sort of after the music that felt like mine; more my little brother's music.
I don't think I ever liked TV quite the way I like music. TV is too corporate, I guess; you don't get the same purity of artistic expression you can get from a really good band. TV has to be tame enough to air, simple enough to attract new viewers and mass audiences, has to please network executives, is put together by tons of people with different agendas, etc. I have loved TV shows, but not at the same level, not with the kind of trust that I would give to a band that I respect.
