I’m very excited by the implication that Jaime has become more interesting to him … because the “unexpected” expansion of the story? That’s awesome (and I think it fits in with some of what I thought about Feast)! And also, yay, he was meant to be ambiguous from the beginning. I’m a little worried about “what can be forgiven” – I think this is pointing to Jaime’s inevitable demise.
