I think it was me who wasn't very clear, when I wrote that last sentence I was actually thinking of rusty_halo's post.
And yeah, I want to see it go somewhere before I believe it. I have to admit, though, I'm still invested enough to hope we will get to see Dean hit rock bottom and make some changes.
On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that will be the only role the killing of Amy will get to play - I'm sure it will be used, but only as prop for Dean'n'Sam, not because of Amy.
