New York Comic Con
http://www.nycomiccon.com
February 24-26 at the Javits Center in NYC
$35 for a weekend pass
Kevin Smith is the guest of honor. Schedule at a glance.
I'm not going back to San Diego this year, but I think I'll check this out. Anyone else going?
Also, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult is playing that Saturday night, Feb 25, at Avalon (formerly Limelight, on 6th Ave at 20th St). Anyone want to go see them with me?

Incidentally, someone from TKK keeps talking on MySpace about how he's helping organize a fall Chemlab/Pig tour (the mere thought of which is giving me continuous mental orgasms, despite the fact that Chemlab and Pig are both denying it).

I've only seen Thrill Kill twice, and the first time was a lot of fun. You never know, you could have a good time. All by your lonesome. Aww. :<
Laibach is another band you have to see for the experience. And Einsturzende Neubauten, so I've heard.

My friend Ewa likes Laibach. I'll ask her about them. I only know that one song, Life is Life or something.

Laibach's famous song is their cover of Queen's One Vision. Their videos are hysterical.

Well, I found it amusing.
