Everyone's doing this meme. I don't usually post these, because I think "everyone's going to think I'm selfish and hate me for posting this," even though I never think that about anyone else who posts these.

But anyway, I really enjoyed reading the responses in other people's journals. It's neat and interesting how people in fandom are so interconnected. So, I'll post this anyway:

1. How did you first hear of/meet me?

2. Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me?

3. With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and/or my writing?

NOTE: This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

(Just ignore the whole "writing" part, since I don't write.)

Also, I just looked at my entry from last night, and man, I really shouldn't be allowed to post after 3am.

I went and got the most expensive ticket. Since I want autographs it looked like it was probably the best bet.

Yup, I'll be at the dessert party. Though I doubt I'll be able to eat any of the desserts! I guess I'll bring some vegan chocolate or something.

I need to figure out something for Nick to sign ... too bad they don't sell Spike/Xander merchandise!

Oh, they'll have official 8x10's of him available to buy, babe, worry not!

Oh, I know, but what will I do with an 8x10? I don't want a framed picture of Xander in my bedroom! OTOH, a picture of Spike and Xander....

Plus, I'm tired of generic 8x10s in general. I want to start getting cool stuff signed. (My signed JM action figure, for example--that's cool. The 8x10s? Meh.)

Maybe I can find another trading card somewhere .... I'd just like to have something more substantial....

Oh, btw, how much would you estimate it would cost round trip to fly from NYC to Toronto for Toronto Trek?

On http://www.jetsgo.com you can get a return flight from Newark to Toronto coming in on the 1st and going home on the 5th for $183.13. That's not bad!!!

If I found a collectible card game card with Xander on it, would you like that to have for him to sign? I have literally HUNDREDS of doubles, I just have to find a double of him.

Ooh, thanks for the airfare info. I'm going to look into it in detail; I really would like to go, and it doesn't look like it'll be *that* expensive. I have to be careful about missing days from work, though, too, since I really want to take a week and see Vegas during WriterCon. But maybe I could leave Fri morning for TT and come home Monday; then I'd only miss two days. Not so bad...

Thank you so much for offering me a Xander card! I appreciate it so much. I'm going to be keeping my eyes out for something with Xander and Spike together, but if I can't find that, a card would be great. :)

You could even go home late Sunday night and you wouldn't miss anything either at the convention (since it ends around 6:00 pm on Sunday) or at work! That's just a thought, too...and no, TT isn't terribly expensive, we try to keep costs down.

I've got all the cards set aside for you, I'll just bring 'em and you can choose what you want...

Okay, I dug through all my extra collectible card game cards, and found sixteen Xander-related cards that you're welcome to go through and choose one of:

- one limited Xander character card from the Angel's Curse deck

- three Xander Companion cards (all limited), one each from the Pergamum Prophecy, Angel's Curse and Class of '99 decks (that's all three decks they made, by the way)

- twelve various cards, limited and unlimited from all three decks, that picture him prominantly.

Your choice! I'll bring 'em with me.
