Everyone's doing this meme. I don't usually post these, because I think "everyone's going to think I'm selfish and hate me for posting this," even though I never think that about anyone else who posts these.

But anyway, I really enjoyed reading the responses in other people's journals. It's neat and interesting how people in fandom are so interconnected. So, I'll post this anyway:

1. How did you first hear of/meet me?

2. Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me?

3. With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and/or my writing?

NOTE: This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

(Just ignore the whole "writing" part, since I don't write.)

Also, I just looked at my entry from last night, and man, I really shouldn't be allowed to post after 3am.

Someone in a chat gave me the link to All About Spike. I browsed the site and just was amazed at the amazing fic you had archived there-- most of my reading attempts before then were not of the good, so it was really cool to find a place with a lot of great fic, all centered around my favorite character. Your site was a big reason for getting me hooked (I remember especially loving how you sorted by Time Period, since there are times I love reading fic set in particular seasons/episodes).

I can't remember how I found out you had lj, but once I realized it I friended you right away-- and I know you're not asking for a suckup fest at all, but I'm perfectly honest when I say I love reading pretty much every post you make, especially ones with your insight toward fandom.

Thank you. That's sweet of you to say.

I think we see a lot of things in similar ways. I always enjoy reading your posts; even when I disagree they give me something to think about.

Where did I first hear of you...? Did you submit a fic to me? I can't remember; it seems like you were always around. I definitely associate you with LJ more than anything else. And with Spike/Fred. :)

I think the first fic I ever submitted to you was Exit Seraphim. Then I started writing some S/F and really got into that-- one of my OTP's. :-)
