Joss Whedon will be at Dragoncon. So, you guys are going, right? ;)

And apparently, I am the one person left in the world who didn't know that Vincent Kartheiser is doing a play in NYC. That's what I get for skipping out on LiveJournal for weeks on end....

But now I know, and apparently I will be seeing a bunch of you guys there this Saturday at the 9pm show. And the pre-show meetup, probably. :)

Last night I fell asleep on my couch while re-watching season one of Queer as Folk. I adore Brian Kinney so much. But I have to fast forward through every scene with Michael's boring doctor boyfriend. I hate that guy. I hate the character because he's a manipulative, condescending asshole, and I've never been able to stand the actor (he just rubs me wrong; I could never get into Kung Fu: The Legend Continues as a kid, because I disliked him). And Ted is so boring and creepy; I can't stand him either. But it's all worth it, because Brian.

It's Friday, so we're eating vegan cupcakes. *is happy*

I should re-read it; I loved the book as a kid. And the movie is one of my all-time favorites.

Yeah, I have no plans to talk to the guy. I was already planning to go to DragonCon, and I'm not a huge Joss fan. But it should be interesting to hear him speak, and I'm hoping this means more of my online friends will be around. :)

I think they're going to have almost the entire Firefly cast. They're certainly going all out to promote this movie. Should be interesting. :)

DragonCon is a great con. (Despite the poor website). This will be my third year--it's huge, great music, tons of interesting panels, tons of fun and interesting people...

I don't think I'll be going this year, unless by some weird twist of fate I become a millionaire between then and now...sob!

Hee--this is precisely the way I watch my QaF DVD's. Fast-forward to all the Brian scenes, and fuck everything else.

Wish there was some kind of "Brian-only" menu option on the DVD set. It would save me so much work.

I actually did that with Spike. I downloaded all his episodes (up until mid S6, this was long ago), used Windows MovieMaker to edit out every non-Spike part, and then edited that together to make a Spike-only version of BtVS.

The show was much better that way. :)

I'll bet it was. And it proves that JM/Spike could totally have carried a series, if Whedon had ever given him the chance.

I am so much in pain... But I took pain killers thayt I got from my dentist today, and now I am driniking sown Barardi coconut rum (yay Captain jack!) , adn hopefully I'll be soon numb nough to sleep...

The dentist I went to today said I need the rrot canal RIGHT NOW. But they screwed up my filling last last time, and their office is DIRTY! So I don't care, if need be I'll go to emergeny room tomorrow, but I will NOT let them do a surgery when they can't bother to make their offfice sparkle.

Anyway. I now feel - and look - like Puss in the boots in Shrk 2. With big "Woe is me" eyes. So if yo don't hear form me, I am incapacitated in my bed sleeping off the worst pain of my life. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!
