Really, Laura, you should watch Farscape, and don't be daunted by the first few episodes (or the Henson puppets). It's an epic story with a truly fine love story at its center. And terrific characters. While BtVS was going kerblooey in S6 and S7, I watched Farscape to keep myself sane (and to reassure myself that some creators/writers/showrunners actually care about pesky things like character development, a cohesive narrative, continuity, chemistry between characters, etc.).
