Oh, I didn't mean to diss Spike/Faith at all. I'm just trying to figure out why it's not as popular as you'd expect, which I'm basing on what seems to be popular perception of the pairing, and popular preferences for fluffy romance fic; not my actual opinions.
I see a lot of potential in the pairing and tend to prefer it to Spike/Fred. (I do admit to a fondness for Spike/Tara, mostly because Tara was one of the only women on that show that I found attractive, due to her not looking like a starved little stick.)
I'm really, really looking forward to seeing what you do with Spike and Faith in Eldorado.
