Hey Laura, I'm so glad to hear how much you're enjoying Common Rotation. I agree that it's kind of weird to see a band so many times that you like you're being rude if you don't talk to them but also don't want to intrude on their space. The way I see it is that they're guys and they have egos. At the very worst they're going to think that people like them, even if they don't have time for it.
Re: Bertie Bott's Yeah, aren't they the worst. I bought a big box of them in Cleveland earlier this year during a stopover on a connecting flight. Hadn't seen them in Canada yet but now we have the small boxes. I'm partial to the grass ones myself. I've also since found up here chocolate dragon eggs (complete with little gummy dragons inside and full description of the four different kinds of dragons). Because it's a British import the chocolate is the best. Mmmmm. Oh and I also found some chocolate frogs. They come wrapped in a foil package and while I haven't eaten one myself (at $6 Canadian I only got one as a gift for someone) but inside it's shaped like a frog and comes with a collectible wizard card. Neat, huh?
I so wish I was coming to Writercon. I wish, I wish, I wish.
