I totally get the shy and socially awkward thing, as you well know--but to add to that, I always figure nobody really wants to hear anything I have to say, so I'll sit back and say nothing, all the while having odd bits and pieces of conversation that I almost toss in kept at bay in the back of my throat. Then, in a Tourette's-like fashion what seems like bizarre non sequitors, that up to that point had been stewing, erupt from my mouth. And that probably is proof enough that I have no business being around any sort of "celebrity" much less most 'folk.

It's a vicious soikle.
