Writercon is pretty much my favorite convention ever. I’m looking forward to helping make sure that Writercon ‘09 turns out as awesome as ‘04 and ‘06. :)

I’m Voting rm for the LiveJournal Advisory Board

I’m voting rm for the LiveJournal advisory board. I friended her several months ago because she consistently impressed me with her articulate and even-handed opinions during Strikethrough and Boldthrough. She stands by her principles and doesn’t back down when she believes in something. Plus, she’s very intelligent and–as both a member of the fan community and a published writer–she has the life experience to know what she’s talking about.

Her platform centers around the need for 1) better communication from LiveJournal to its members and 2) the belief that all speech, as long as it’s legal, should be allowed on LiveJournal. Read her explanation of why she’d be a good advisory board member.
