(no subject)

Was trying to catch up with my flist and came across this followed by this and started actually crying. Ah, the power of fandom, after all these years.

Oh, and jaydk and I watched Henry IV part 1 on Saturday night (yay ExpatShield) and both ended up vowing to fly to London next time Tom Hiddleston does theater. Well, I think it has to be Shakespeare for her, but I will see him in anything. So pretty OMG.

My coworkers got me a Loki lego action figure for my birthday. (My coworkers = officially awesome.) I think the cleaning people disapprove, though, because they invariably knock him down no matter where I put him. Twice I came into work and was traumatized to find him down with his head having popped off. Still, he is very entertaining to play with on long conference calls.

*sigh* I miss fandom. Wish I had something to contribute, but I have nothing particularly interesting to say and no time to build anything. Ah well, I will continue to post recs, here, if nothing else.

Anyone else going to DragonCon? Just got my plane tickets, am looking forward to the Avengers costumes. :)
