Yeah, I don't think Buffy fandom is anywhere near that insane. Harry Potter is a unique kind of crazy.
Although, when it comes to Buffy convention fandom ... well, there's not much crazy I'd put past some of those people. (See aforementioned quote about hot actor type at the center of it all...)
