Yeah, the movie was crap. He was fine; he did his best given the pointlessness of his character.
Hee! I just think he's such a sweetie to take the blame for that badness on himself :P
I find "Bravo Two Zero" really depressing too - I think it's partly because Bean's a really good actor, so all of that actually looks like it really *hurts.* I've only watched it the one time...
"The Big Empty" is ... entertaining and I thought it was quite fun to watch.
And I see no reason why we can't meet up at least for a coffee before New Years :P
