It's too bad there are still no Trader Joe's stores in Manhattan, because they carry almost all the vegan stuff you find at Whole Foods, only at half the price. My husband (a vegan) would be lost without TJ's and in a lesser sense Whole Foods. I myself love WF -- it's the closest thing we have here to the great Manhattan stores like Dean and Deluca, Fairway and Balducci's.
