Lucifer Update; Doctor Who Distractions

Just got back from the vet. He said Lucifer seems fine based on the exam, but I should watch him closely to see if anything changes. I’m going to work from home the rest of today and probably tomorrow so I can keep an eye on him.

I miss sleeping. Every single noise wakes me up now because I’m afraid it’s Lucifer having a seizure or Lucifer throwing up. :(

Anyway. Distracting myself with Doctor Who stuff before I go do more work:

* Excerpts from Russell T. Davies’ new book about writing Doctor Who. Have I mentioned how much I love this guy? I adore his enthusiasm and positive attitude and, yes, his crazy cracked out ideas. I can’t wait to read the whole book.

* Rumor has it that John Simm is returning for one or more of the specials next year. If this happens I will DIE OF SQUEE. Just FYI.

Tennant and Simm better have some proper screen time this time around; phone sex is great and all, but I want them in the same frame together, without either of them covered in age makeup or turned into a CGI gollum creature.

* Less credible rumor has it that there might be a Doctor Who movie and that it might involve AU!Ten and Rose. This would also bring me pretty close to dying of squee, though I doubt it'll actually happen. If it does, though, I so want them to be zeppelin air pirates. ;)

* And another rumor is that David Tennant's Hamlet could come to Broadway for a brief run. Man, can you imagine? I'd have to take a circuitous subway route home just so I could walk past the theater every night and bask in the proximity to David Tennant. And, naturally, I'd have to actually see it two or three more times as well. (*crosses fingers*)
