Well, maybe you can find something you want to watch, and download/stream that on Fridays? (Hey, if you ended up liking Fringe, that airs on Fridays too. It's not perfect, but it's way better on the stuff that makes me ragey in SPN.)

I couldn't begin to guess where the Dean-arc-having SPN fic is at; I'm pretty much just reading whatever monanotlisa writes in Fringe, these days.
