Sorry for not replying to your earlier post, but whee! You and Jane at DragonCon? It just keeps getting better and better. All these wonderful online friends, and I don't have to worry about airfare or a hotel room ;). Like I said, lots of friends are coming, and we're already planning a party at the clubhouse at either my or biftec's apartment complex. Swimming pool, booze, big screen TV, and Spike. What more could a girl want?
What kind of advice do you need? The good thing about D*C (from what I've heard) is that it's massive, which means you won't have to worry so much about tickets and such. It's also a very diverse convention, so everything won't be quite so focused on JM/BTVS like at Shore Leave. If you want to save money by avoiding the downtown hotels, I can suggest some cheaper places in the inner suburbs where you could still catch the subway to the convention site.
We should really start an LJ community or mailing list for the people coming to DragonCon. I can't keep track of them all anymore.
