And here are all my Vulkon photos:

Now ... it's 3:30 AM and I have to be up at 9. Should I ...
1) go to sleep?
2) archive the WIPs that were updated over the weekend?
3) read the sequel to "Modus Vivendi"?
4) study for the final that I have to take tomorrow morning?
I'm going to try to do a little bit of everything, actually.

Date: 2003-04-30 01:00 am (UTC)I've had to set a "rule" that I'm not allowed to turn on the computer when I get home from work 1am, because otherwise I end up doing the exact same thing. It's 3am, and it's impossible for me to get in a full nights sleep now.
3) read the sequel to "Modus Vivendi"?
Fantastic, but utterly depressing. Much more so than the first. Hold off until you have the time to focus on it.
Glad to hear that you had such a good weekend; your report was one of the first I read, and it's nice to see how many good things were said about the actors. Once you're settled down, I want to stalk you on an IM again, I have some site-related questions :D

Date: 2003-05-01 10:59 pm (UTC)I read "Ars moriendi" and Oh.My.God. wiseacress is so brilliant it's kind of scary. I didn't even find it all that depressing, honestly, I just love the way she writes so much that it was hard to be unhappy afterwards. She does such an amazing job of evoking a mood and scene and an emotional response in the reader ... reading her fic is such a visceral experience, it's just amazing. I wish I was articulate enough to properly express how and why I admire her work so much, but um, I'm not. I have a hard time getting beyond "That was totally awesome!" but I'm trying. I'll have to re-read AR when I'm more awake and maybe then I'll be able to explain it more clearly.
You're welcome to stalk me on IM, just give me an approximate time and I'll try my best to be there. :)

Date: 2003-05-01 11:01 pm (UTC)That's cool that you saw me at the con. Maybe you remembered me from Shore Leave or something? Are you going to any more cons this year? I'm going to Moonlight Rising, Vulkon Tampa, and DragonCon; if you're going to any hopefully we'll see each other. :)
