Everybody's doing it...
May. 15th, 2003 12:35 pmFirst episode you saw :
I watched regularly from the very first airing of the very first episode. I only watched seasons 3 and 4 sporadically ("Dead Man's Party" ruined it for a while) but started watching regularly again in S5.
Your first thought about the show :
I can't believe I'm watching some dumb teen show called "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
Why do you love it :
Because when it's good, it makes me think and feel. I tend to be very cynical so I really enjoy that BtVS is able to break through that and get an actual emotional reaction out of me.
Favourite episode :
Fool for Love.
Least favourite episode :
As You Were.
Best action episode :
Does anyone watch this show for the action? Seriously. I don't know, does the subway fight in FFL count as action?
Episode that made you cry :
Becoming II, The Body, Seeing Red, Beneath You.
Episode that kept you in suspense :
Intervention. I really thought that Spike was either going to die or sell out Buffy (or both). When he didn't, that's when I became a completely devoted Spike fan.
Favourite quote :
Seven years of the show and I'm supposed to pick one quote? Come on.
Quote that made you cry :
Spike's whole scene at the end of "Beneath You," especially the "service the girl" and just wanting to "fit" lines.
Funniest quote :
"Timothy Dalton should win an Oscar and beat Sean Connery over the head with it!"
Best 'speech' :
Um ... it's either Spike's scene at the end of "Beneath You," Spike's alley speech to Buffy in "Fool for Love," or Spike's "love's bitch" speech in "Lover's Walk."
Most surprising moment :
Buffy kissed Spike at the end of the musical. I couldn't believe it, and it's the reason I decided to become an online fan.
Moment you couldn't watch :
I've watched it all, because I don't think I have a right to judge it if I haven't seen it. That said, I will never watch the bathroom scene of "Seeing Red" or any moment of "As You Were" ever again.
Saddest death :
Tara. I miss Tara.
Favourite character :
Well, duh. Spike.
Least favourite character :
I'm torn between Riley and S6/S7 Buffy.
Funniest character :
Andrew and Anya.
Best looking character :
Spike. Of the women, Tara.
Bravest character :
They've all had their moments.
Smartest character :
Willow, at least in the early days.
Character you would most like to be in combat with :
I'd love to smack Buffy across the face as she walks out of Spike's crypt in "As You Were." But uh, seeing as she has superpowers, I don't think it would help.
Character you most wanna hug :
Spike.
Character who wasn't in season 7 that you miss the most :
Tara. I've really felt her lack this season.
Character with the best hair :
I love how Anya's hair keeps changing colors. It's always interesting.
Character with the biggest attitude :
Spike, Faith.
Favourite scene of all time :
The final scene of "Fool for Love." Spike puts down the shotgun and awkwardly comforts Buffy instead of killing her.
Least favourite scene of all time :
Buffy and Riley mock Spike as he cries in front of them in "As You Were."
Quote that means the most to you :
All of Spike's comments about wanting to find a place where he "fits," where he is loved and accepted, in "Beneath You."
