jaydk just called me -- at 1am -- to tell me that Colin Farrell was cursing and talking about gay sex on Conan. Hee.

We went to see S.W.A.T. tonight. It was ... how shall I phrase this? ... completely and utterly awful. If you are French, upper class, or a vegetarian, you'll probably want to avoid this one (you'll know what I mean if you ever have the misfortune of seeing it). Also, if you have taste ....

There weren't so much characters as there were archetypes and straw men, and not so much plot as a big compilation of clichés. At least it was free (Jane got some free movie pass thingy).

Going to catch a bit of sleep now....

Sheesh ;-).

Seriously though, you missed the best parts. Conan was showing pictures of Colin nuzzling Al Pacino's ear at one premiere and nuzzling some other guy's forehead at another, and asked Colin what was going on. His answer: "Flirting." ;-) You know, if this was the LOTR fandom there'd be a vehement contingent vowing that the aforementioned pictures were proof -- PROOF! -- of the real and true AlColinSomeOtherGuy relationship, deeply hidden by the almighty PR except for when it's...not. Oh, TheirLoveIsSoDenied!

Also, Conan asked Colin about playing Alexander as a bisexual and Colin was all "yeah, right on" and offering to add Conan to the film. ColinConan -- TheirLoveIsSoIrish ;-).
