Got the mail form issue solved. Turns out the problem was with hotmail. *kicks hotmail*
The review system is being really weird, sending out alerts for old reviews. I have no clue what's up with that. Will look into it if it keeps happening. Everyone out there, again, please let me know if you notice anything weird with All About Spike.
What's on your bedside table?
Alarm clock #1 (I have three), silver glitter nail polish, tissues, TV remote, lotion, lip gloss, nail file.
What's the geekiest part of your music collection?
The soundtrack to Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Because it was my favorite movie when I was ten, and the soundtrack was the first record that I ever bought.
What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?
Anything and everything. I eat constantly. Usually leftovers from whatever I ate during the day.
What is your secret guaranteed weeping film?
Well, it wouldn't be a secret if I said it right here, now would it?
Maybe The Terminator, but I could just be saying that because I saw it again last night.
If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
I wouldn't, because it's superficial and wrong. That said: liposuction to minimize my big fat ass and thighs.
Do you have a completely irrational fear?
Not really. I dislike heights, but that's perfectly rational: you could fall and die.
What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
Um ... I guess huddling into myself and not talking.
Do you ever have to beg?
Not that I can think of.
Do you have too many love interests?
Nope.
Do you know anyone famous?
Define "know" and "famous."
I guess according to my definitions, no.
Describe your bed.
It's a couch, it's a bed, it's not particularly comfortable either way. It does have an extra mattress underneath that you can pull out, which would be really convenient if I ever had someone sleep over.
Spontaneous or plan?
Both, but leaning toward plan.
Who should play you in a movie about your life?
No one would make a movie about my life.
Do you know how to play poker?
Yes. My dad taught my brother and me using pennies at the airport in Atlanta when we were really little and stuck overnight because of a delayed flight.
What do you carry with you at all times?
All times? Nothing. Out of the house: keys, wallet, lip gloss.
How do you drive?
I don't drive. It's dangerous and scary and you could kill people.
What do you miss most about being little?
I hated being little. I hated the powerlessness of it. I love being adult and independent. I can't really think of anything I miss that much. Maybe playing imaginary games with my little brother; we would create these really complex universes and characters. That was fun. I miss being creative; it came so easily back then. And the house I lived in when I was little, I really miss that. It was this big brick house in the middle of the woods that my parents designed and built. We heated the house with a wood-burning furnace using wood that my dad chopped from the trees outside, and we were always clearing the woods and having these big bonfires where we roasted marshmallows on sticks. We drank filtered rainwater that we collected in a big underground sistern and filtered in our basement. In the winter, we'd have fires in the fireplace that really did heat the house, not just for show. And we had tons of woods to explore and play in, and a great little jungle gym. My mom did the landscaping, so we had these beautiful flowers everywhere, and roses, and dogwood trees. And we lived up on this high hill, so when it snowed you could go sledding down the hill (making sure to avoid the trees, which I learned the hard way). It was a great place; I still can't believe my parents sold it and moved to suburbia. I remember my dad planted oak trees everywhere, and he really loved them; I miss my dad being happy like that and having a hobby. And living near family, and actually feeling like a part of that family, that was cool. My grandma and grandpa used to visit every Saturday and give me a quarter, and I kept all the quarters in a piggy bank. And we'd visit them and my brother and I would fight over who got to ring the bell, and when we rang it we'd wait for the garage door to open, and then we'd dash under it and find grandma and grandpa on the other side. Then we'd rush upstairs and find DeeDee, my great aunt who lived with my grandparents, sitting in her chair in the kitchen watching games shows on TV. That was neat, knowing them and being part of their family. Now I don't communicate with anyone except my immediate family, and even they are pretty distant.
Are you happy with your given name?
Don't mind it. It kind of sounds pretty, although people get confused because my last name is usually a first name, so sometimes they don't believe me that it's my last name. Or they call me by my last name thinking it's my first name, that's annoying. But overall I don't care.
What color is your bedroom?
White.
What was the last song you were listening to?
Something by the Cruxshadows ... maybe "Tears."
Have you ever been in a school play?
We kind of did a mini-play in 6th grade of "The Prince and the Pauper." But nothing significant. I don't like being in front of other people.
Have you ever been in love?
Um ... define "love." I guess ... kinda, maybe, a little bit, possibly, but I'm not really sure. Could be.
Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?
I don't like myself. I don't really believe in myself, but I believe in standing up for myself, because I know I can't rely on anyone else to.
Have you ever done any illegal drugs?
No.
Do you think you're cute?
I can be, occasionally, with a whole lot of makeup and carefully chosen clothes.
Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?
It depends on the situation and my mood. I generally try to be.
