Protests at Union Square Park

My coworker just ran outside and took a bunch of photos of the protests going on in Union Square Park today. I made a little slideshow thingy and posted them on our website.

Any idea how the boot thing got started? And where they got all the boots? I can't imagine they were able to get the soldiers' actual boots ... but a very fascinating and powerful display it is.
