3. I refuse to buy the DVD versions of Star Wars because they've been corrupted by stupid digital crap. I'm sticking with the real movies for the rest of my life, no matter how worn out these VHS tapes get. (And, related: I've seen the originals something like 500 times each.)
Actually, the original trilogy was released on laser disc without the special edition garbage added in. So Greedo shot first forever in at least one digital format.
Of course, it's possible that somewhere out there someone's captured the laser disc files and burned them to DVD.
And it's possible that a 'net search might find such DVDs for sale.
That is, if one's willing to ignore Mr. Lucas' copyright to his work.
