Aug. 28th, 2003 01:11 amI'm all finished packing and ready to head to DragonCon tomorrow morning. :)
I decided to go all-out, since this might be my one of my last cons, so I packed like half the clothes in my closet. (I need a bigger suitcase!) It was very depressing, trying stuff on, realizing I've gained like 20 pounds in the past two years. Grrrr. But I still fit into most of it, so that's good. It'll be fun to dress up.
I have to get up extra early to go on IM with my dad, who is going to call my cell phone company and try and get the phone working. The phone just decided to stop making calls this afternoon, despite the fact that it's fully charged and shows a "good" connection. Not bloody likely that it'll actually start working, but it's worth a try since I'd like to use it at DragonCon. It's the only phone I have -- no landline -- so this is very frustrating.
All About Spike is still having database issues; I'll look into it when I get back. In the meantime, if you hit an error, it seems the best thing to do is wait a bit, then reload the page. Eventually it'll start working again. I apologize to everyone who depends on the site for fic. *sigh*
