San Francisco!

Oh my god, I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow.

I would really love to meet up with some of my online friends in the area. :)

I'm arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving Monday morning, and I'm staying in the Union Square area. Friday night I'm seeing Chemlab, but otherwise I have no plans yet. (I'm thinking museums, vegan restaurants, and lots of walking around various neighborhoods. Any suggestions for other fun stuff?)

Be sure to check out Herbivore (http://cuisinenet.com/info/?v=237&/san_francisco/rest/4944.shtml), it's in the Mission as I recall. :)

Yes! There's another Herbivore on Divisidero near the Panhandle. I love that one.

Don't forget about Shangri La in the Richmond, and Golden Era in the Tenderloin (scary neighborhood, but great food). Oh, and I've been reading interesting things about Medicine downtown -- it's a very rarefied sort of vegan Japanese restaurant. Don't forget the Ferry Building greenmarket on Saturday -- it's wonderful.
