Ugh, I seem to be incapable of commenting properly, but I had to tell you how !!!!! I am about the Jensen screencaps you posted from Dark Angel. I've got it in my Netflix queue, but I wasn't sure about it at all-- until you posted the caps & description of his character. o.O

Yeah, you have to. He is so so so pretty. And the character really is fantastic, at least in a hitting-all-my-fangirl-kinks way. There is a ton of fanfic about him too, some of which is actually pretty good. (I've got recs here.)

The show itself is abominable, though. I would definitely recommend watching only his episodes--he's in 1x18 and then doesn't show up again until season two. His big showcase episode is 2x11. And yeah, seriously, it is fangirl crack.
