I’m seeing my favorite band at Madison Square Garden on the night Supernatural season six premieres.

…If I hadn’t already bought the ticket, I would totally stay home and watch SPN instead.

I hear you! I'm actually going up north hiking that weekend - it's the only weekend that will really work - so I'm not sure if I'll see it before Sunday night! At least it's on Friday now instead of Thursday, so fandom reaction will be spread out over the weekend instead of being a concentrated burst on Friday mornings?

Definitely a good problem. :)

I'll still be able to watch SPN later that night; it's just, I'll have to wait longer! I'm probably going to spend the whole concert imagining what'll happen in the SPN episode (which I'm totally spoiled for anyway, BUT STILL.)

That's kind of cool, having the whole weekend to think over the episode, and being able to stay up as late as you want because you don't have to go to work the next morning. The last show I watched on Friday night was, uh, X-Files in the early 90s. Wow.

I'm going to visit out of town daughter and am going to force her to either watch it with me or record so I can watch after! I love the Supernatural and can hardly wait.
