I came home yesterday at 10 PM to discover that the power in my building was out (due to the snowstorm). I had one candle and no flashlight, so it was very, very creepy. Power wasn't back until 11 AM. Also, I went into internet withdrawal; it was driving me absolutely insane that I couldn't check my email. Yes, I really am addicted to the internet.

Is anyone going to see Adam Busch's band, Common Rotation, at the Bitter End on Saturday? I'm thinking about going, since it's right near me, but I don't want to go alone. So get in touch and let me know if you'll be there; maybe we can meet up.

Well, damn it, I wish I was going because I'm all excited that I used The Bitter end in my fic, and now Adam Busch's band is playing there! It's a mystical convergence, Laura. Clearly, God watches 'Buffy'. And, um...reads fanfic. My fanfic. Stop laughing! I can hear you!

Anyway, hope you go to the concert and have a lovely time.

I thought that was very cool that you used the Bitter End in your fic.

I've been there before because the band I used to promote played there, and their guitar player worked there. It's a cool place.

I wish I could go with you. We could skeeve at Warren and then ride the subway all night looking for the car in which Spike killed Nikki. (Whines) C'mon...doesn't that sound like fun? Doesn't it?

LOL, it sounds fun to me. I'm totally in awe of the NYC subway; I don't know why anyone wouldn't love it. It's cool-looking, and the people are so diverse, and it's usually safe, and you can get damn near *anywhere* for $1.50 (!!!) without having to get in a car (I hate cars).

And seeing Warren ... yeah, it's kind of embarrassing to be going to a show because the lead singer was in a TV show I like. But hey, the band is getting paid, and maybe I'll even like the music.

Too bad you live so far away. >:(
