Everyone's doing this meme. I don't usually post these, because I think "everyone's going to think I'm selfish and hate me for posting this," even though I never think that about anyone else who posts these.

But anyway, I really enjoyed reading the responses in other people's journals. It's neat and interesting how people in fandom are so interconnected. So, I'll post this anyway:

1. How did you first hear of/meet me?

2. Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me?

3. With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and/or my writing?

NOTE: This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

(Just ignore the whole "writing" part, since I don't write.)

Also, I just looked at my entry from last night, and man, I really shouldn't be allowed to post after 3am.

Oh, let's see...

I first stumbled across you when I very first poked my nose into this on-line fandom. I found the Bloody Awful Poet Society website after doing a search on "James Marsters" and found their wonderful archive of fic links and convention reports.

Someone named Laura had written up the best summation of a convention ever and had supplied a bunch of photos. I was so thrilled because I'd read and admired the stories written by the people who were in the photos.

A while later I'd managed to write "Who's Been Shaggin' in My Bed?" and you sent me a note asking to archive it. I went to your site to check it out and found another great convention report. Then I realized you were the same Laura and I was just insanely excited about that. WOW! You'd shared this great info and built this beautiful site. So, basically, I was stuck with total awe -- and still am.
