Everyone's doing this meme. I don't usually post these, because I think "everyone's going to think I'm selfish and hate me for posting this," even though I never think that about anyone else who posts these.

But anyway, I really enjoyed reading the responses in other people's journals. It's neat and interesting how people in fandom are so interconnected. So, I'll post this anyway:

1. How did you first hear of/meet me?

2. Where and when did you first hear my name/see my work/meet me?

3. With what people/series/groups etc. do you associate me and/or my writing?

NOTE: This is not a praise or feedback meme, this is just to track the path of my online presence and to see the connections involved, to find out how people link together.

(Just ignore the whole "writing" part, since I don't write.)

Also, I just looked at my entry from last night, and man, I really shouldn't be allowed to post after 3am.

I remember you from way back, the Troika lists. You were like, one of the core members, whereas I mostly just lurked.

Then, of course, I met you at Shore Leave. And again here in NY.

I agree with you on a whole lot, and you have such an interesting perspective--I always enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Thank you for saying such kind things! (Obviously you've not seen me in whiny bitch mode.)

Btw, when are you going to be in NY again?

You are v. much somebody without the web site, woman! I wouldn't have warmed up to you if you had the best fan fic website (which you happen to have, btw) and were a pain. The web site is great because you are so good at it - because it reflects you.
On the bitch mode: I absolutely love your rants. No, not because you are upset and I take joy in that - but because you still manage to be so good at putting the reasons you are upset in such a clear way and it fascinates me. I'm one of those people who lose coherence when pissed off, so I admire people who can bitch eloquently :)
Which in my case, is pretty weird. Since the little fic I wrote was 90% gay and my one original character (Mary Sue) is also gay.

I'll probably be in NY on my way to Vegas - yep Writercon! I'll probably spend the summer in NY with J. *fingers crossed* I look forward to hanging out if you are up to it!

LOL. Whereas I only tend to be coherent when I am pissed off--otherwise I don't have the motivation to put the effort into articulating something clearly.

Ooh, you're going to be here this summer!! And at Writercon?! Awesome. I'm so looking forward to seeing you. :)
